AirTran Airways has announced service to Burlington, VT.
Effective May 21, the expanding low-fare carrier will offer three daily nonstop flights between Burlington International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International Airport. The route will be served by Boeing 717-200 aircraft, which seat 117 passengers (12 in business class and 105 in coach). See AirTran's website. In addition, JetBlue is tripling frequency between Burlington and Orlando. Burlington International Airport (BTV), serving the USA’s 92nd largest market, now has non-stop jet service from 13 major airports.
